Schaeffler Symposium 2018 – Mobility for Tomorrow

The megacities of today, tomorrow and day after tomorrow are growing rapidly. The aim is to achieve local transportation concepts that meet the city's needs. Schaeffer has been working hard on delivering groundbreaking products and innovations in the field of urban mobility. By developing new drive technologies, next-generation mobility solutions for urban living spaces as well as components that make automobiles more environmentally friendly, Schaeffler are helping to shape mobility for tomorrow.
For nearly 20 years Schaeffler has been working on the electrification of the powertrain. Products and systems in this segment will contribute at least 15 % to total automotive OEM sales by 2020.
In addition to individual components, Schaeffler is also developing entire vehicle concepts such as four-wheel “bio-hybrid” and the modular “Schaeffler Mover” for people or cargo.
